It’s almost Halloween which means it’s time to try out all of the spooky-themed cocktail recipes. This cocktail has a few different variations which makes it the perfect drink to share!

We start with some sweet pomegranate juice and mix that with tequila (or mezcal if you’re partial to a more smokey flavor). Dash in some bitters, cinnamon, sparkling water, and then the creme de la creme – your very own homemade rosemary-infused orange honey simple syrup.

Do you feel frighteningly fancy yet?

No? Well then you can top this cocktail off with a smoking sprig of rosemary to give it the final spooky touch.

Think of this cocktail as a fall margarita (any other tequila lovers out there?).

Over on my Bookstagram account @the_afterwordtons of my literary pals said they’d love to have a copy of this recipe. The Sleep Hollow is so easy to make which means it’s perfect if you’re just beginning to make cocktails. No fancy liquors necessary.

This recipe will walk you step-by-step on how to make the fancy (and delicious) simple syrup as well as the cocktail itself.

Now, let’s get started:
